It's exactly what I expected when I ordered it. The fabric is very lightweight and a little see-through. However, the pattern conceals it well so that I am not able to see through it at all when I wear it (not even tattoos). The material is so light that the edges are tight and will leave marks after about 20 minutes - but it does hold up nicely in the water and you do tan! My snorkeling adventures are a lot more enjoyable when I wear this suit instead of a bikini when the other one-piece leaves awkward tan lines.
